MY MOM had stuck this quote at the bottom of an email…

“Our deepest  fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is  that we are powerful beyond measure.  We ask ourselves,  “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?”   Actually, who are you not to be?  We were born to  make manifest the glory of God that is within us.  And as  we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people  permission to do the same.”

A  Return to Love:  Reflections On the Principles of A  Course in Miracles

Nice….don’t you think?

Some people think that it is egotistical or selfish to appreciate your own talents.  It is NOT! Take Biggles, for instance.  He thinks that he is funny!  He laughs harder at his own jokes than anyone else; more than he laughs at anyone else’s.  Biggles appreciates his sense of humor, even if (when?) no one else does.

I think that’s quaint.
